New paper: Chromatin and gene-regulatory dynamics of the developing human cerebral cortex at single-cell resolution

Excited to share our recent work on the chromatin and transcriptional landscapes in the developing human brain. Fantastic collaboration with the amazing Alexandro Trevino, Jimena Andersen and Laksshman Sundaram in the Pasca and Greenleaf labs at Stanford.

In this work we dissected how chromatin-based gene regulation gives rise to different cortical cell lineages and identify associated transcription factor signatures. We also link mutations associated with autism spectrum disorders with these regulatory patterns and prioritize disease relevance using deep learning.
